Ordering
Making an order on the internet
is the best way to order at Scooter Mercato. Please register first by
setting up an ID (email) and password (or click here).
When you shop our site you will
see if products are in-stock or out of stock. This information is
live and is the same information we look at. If we have a mistake in
our inventory count is another story. We do our best to keep it
accurate.
You will also notice that some
high moving items have quantity discounts. We also have specials and
clearance items.
When you have selected the items
that you want to purchase proceed to the shopping cart and then to
check out.
We are not perfect. By chance
that our inventory is not correct and we don’t have an item on your
order we will contact you to confirm if you would like to proceed
with the order. It is our intention that there will be no surprises
when you get your order.
We accept Visa and Mastercard as
payment forms. We do not charge your card at the time of order
submission; we only charge your card once we have finalized your
order with the actual shipping charges.
Once your order has been shipped
you will be emailed the invoice. The invoice will contain the UPS
tracking number. We will not put an invoice on the box, just a
packing slip. This is for your protection.
Shipping – Domestic
Continental USA
First Class Mail - At Your Own Risk ! - $4.35
This is for small shipments like paper gaskets and hardware. We say ship at your own risk because First Class Mail delivery times can vary widely. If your part is time sensitive then do not choose this.
Priority Mail - Small Flat Rate Box - $8.99
This
shipping option is for small items that will fit in the small flat rate
box ( 8 11/16 x 5 7/16 x 1 3/4 ). Its great for the west coast customers because Priority Mail usually
takes 2-3 days. If your items wont fit in the small flat rate box then
we will switch your shipping method to Best Way Shipping. Don't be a
duffus and order a tire and expect it to ship for $8.99.
Best Way Shipping - up to $12.99, UPS Ground or Priority Mail - $12.99
This is our most popular shipping option. With this shipping method your package will come with either UPS Ground or the USPS Priority Mail. We will choose the cheapest option and charge you the actual price. The max you will be charged is $12.99 but it could be less. If don't want the post office to deliver your package then please choose UPS Ground (Only) option. With the dimensions of items it is impossible to say which shipping method is cheaper.
UPS Ground (Only) - Price Quoted at Check Out
Some of customers want only UPS ground. If you choose this option it will for sure come with UPS Ground. You will be charged the actual shipping rate that is quoted at check out. We have accurate weights entered for each item. We are passing along our shipping discount to you.
UPS Next Day Air - Price Quoted at Check Out
This is for next day delivery. Order cut off time is 12:30 EST.
The delivery week is Monday through Friday. You can not order on Friday for Sat. If you order on Friday your package will arrive on Monday. If you are in an emergency please call.
UPS 2nd Day Air - Price Quoted at Check Out
This is for 2 day delivery. For example, order on Monday, will be received on Wednesday. The delivery week is Monday through Friday. You can not order on Thursday for Saturday delivery. If you order on Thursday your package will arrive on Monday. If you are in an emergency please call.
Shipping – Domestic Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto
Rico
There is no flat
rate shipping to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico. Please choose the
Priority Mail option, this is the only way we will ship to these
three areas. You will be charged the actual rate for this shipment.
This rate will only be calculated after the order has
been received.
Shipping – Canada
There
is a $15.00 minimum for shipping to Canada. Please choose Priority
Mail International – Canada. Once we receive your order we will quote you the actual shipping price. $10 is will only be the price for under 1lb.
Shipping - Rest of the World

As a reference point the minimum
shipping for a small flat rate box is $23.95. Of course if you order
heavy items like cylinders it is going to be higher. We currently
