This cruciform was used on most 4-speed vintage Vespa smallframes. This is the earlier cruciform, not used in late 50 spaecials or ET3 or PK scooters. Of the two four speed, four prong smallframe cruciforms available, this one is the taller, at 52mm from top to bottom. Used in most 4-speeds from before 1976. The cruciform is the highest wear component of the transmission in a vintage Vespa, and it is highly recommended that this part be replaced whenever the engine cases are opened.
