This tool is used for separating the case halves. It is really helpful on Pre-P-series cases that use a 97804 bearing on the flyside but is also helpful on P-series bikes that have been in the elements for awhile and require more than a gentle tug to be separated. This tool can also be used to push the crank out of the clutchside case without damaging it.
